The Sawyer Set | 6 mm & 8 mm

This Walnut and Titanium ring set is ideal for wedding rings, engagement rings, promise rings, or for any occasion. Now that I've gotten the keywords out of the way, I can tell you a little bit about how I went designing these.

When I first got my manual lathe almost ten years ago, I made a design very similar to this, and bent wood around it featuring the timber, while showcasing the titanium. This has evolved over the years into what it is now.

A near indestructible wood set, pressure sealed in marine epoxy, over a titanium substrate. 

American walnut is an absolutely beautiful timber, flowing from dark maroon heartwood to lighter sunspotted sapwood.

Titanium is an incredibly modern metal. It's lighter, and stronger than stainless steel. It's incredibly comfortable to wear, and is entirely hypoallergenic.
